This policy explains what information is collected when you visit strelkov.net (the "Site") and how it is used. The Site is operated by Konstantin Strelkov ("I", "me").

Information you send me
When you use the contact form, I receive the name, email address, topic, and message you enter, together with the language you were viewing the Site in. I use this information only to reply to you and to discuss the work you asked about.
I do not sell or share this information, and I do not add you to any mailing list.
Information collected automatically
The Site does not use advertising or third-party tracking, and does not build visitor profiles.
- Server logs. Like any web server, the Site's hosting records technical request data — IP address, time, requested address, and browser type — to keep the service secure and working. Logs are kept for a limited period and are not combined with other data.
- Content delivery. The Site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes request data on my behalf to protect the Site and speed it up.
- Preferences. Your chosen language, light or dark appearance, and your answer to the cookie notice are remembered in your browser so the Site looks the same on your next visit. These are not used to identify you.
The contact form uses a short-lived technical cookie to protect against forged and automated submissions.
How long information is kept
Messages sent through the contact form are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless a longer period is required by law or we have entered into a working relationship.
Your choices
You can ask me at any time to show you the information I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to [email protected] and I will respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to processing or to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The Site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with an updated date. Earlier versions are kept on record.
